The Founding Team
Meet the Quebec team combining battery engineering, software, and local manufacturing expertise to build reliable LFP energy storage systems for Canada.

Simon Paradis
Co-Founder and President
A mechanical engineer with over 10 years of experience in lithium batteries, he applies his rigor, precision, and technical expertise to the company's operations, engineering, and electronic design. Meticulous and methodical, he ensures that every product designed by Levando meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance, from electronic design to system implementation.
Originally from the Lower St. Lawrence, he understands the demands of the climate and isolated environments. Simon remains deeply attached to the local values that inspire Levando. Driven by the desire to build sustainable solutions, he embodies the company's philosophy: creating here, for the local climate, with a constant concern for combining innovation, precision, and durability.

Sébastien Michaud
Co-founder and Software Director
Sébastien puts his technological know-how at the service of innovation at Levando. Holding a master's degree in computer science and with solid experience in software development, he designs the company's technological infrastructure and supervises the backend and API integrations that ensure the reliability and performance of our connected systems.
A true technology and smart solutions enthusiast, he leads the development of the Levando application, which he wants to be simple, intuitive, and user-centric. Driven by a commitment to solve real problems, Sébastien ensures that every Levando innovation simplifies the lives of our users, from owners of isolated cottages to energy optimization in commercial installations. When he is not coding, he is often found at Lac-Saint-Jean, with a Levando 24V modular battery by his side during his fishing trips.

Rémi Rousseau-Pinard
Co-Founder and Design & Production Director
Trained in mechanical engineering, Rémi coordinates the design and production of Levando battery modules, ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of products assembled in Quebec. His expertise in mechanical design and manufacturing allows him to combine technical precision, durability, and efficiency at every stage of the process.
Driven by the desire to offer local and sustainable solutions, he strives to ensure that every Levando system reflects his quality requirements. Rémi does not just design products: he lives them. He lives with his family in a fully autonomous home, a true living laboratory that directly inspires his work. This experience offers him a concrete understanding of field challenges, such as reliability in winter, optimal energy management, and robustness against the climate. His designs bear the mark of his lived experience and his commitment to making energy autonomy increasingly accessible, comfortable, and sustainable.
